Nested IF, CASE, DO, LOOP, SELECT, WHILE and PROVIDE
statements is a key ingredient for making what’s known as "Spaghetti code".
Such code is hard to read, refactor and therefore maintain.
Noncompliant Code Example
With the default threshold of 3:
